A u t h o r s

All prospective ARWtr2025 participants are invited to submit their work in paper format, written in English language, previously unpublished and relevant to the conference topics to be evaluated by the Technical Committee. The accepted Final Full Papers should be presented by the registered Authors for discussion during Coffee Break-Poster Sessions.

The first step of the paper submission process for each potential paper starts with the submission of a two-page digest according to deadlines, guidelines and Digest Instructions for Authors.

The Author of approved paper digests will be kindly requested to submit the related Full Papers. Full Paper submissions will be blind peer-reviewed by at least 3 reviewers(1). The final version of those Full Papers accepted according to the reviewers' recommendation will be the Final Full Papers. Those Final Full Papers finally presented and discussed by the corresponding Authors, during Poster Session, will be submitted to be posted and published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Scopus and Web of Science databases.

Digest Instructions for Authors

A two-page digest must be written in English, be previously unpublished, and relevant to the conference topics. It should include the title, authors and contact information, a short abstract, keywords,a summary of the main content of the work (tables and figures included), conclusions and references. The two-page digest must be in PDF format. There is no specific template for the two-page digest. Authors are recommended to download and follow the following template in WORD format:

Digest_Template_ARWtr2025.v1.doc.

Submission

Submission of digest(s) [CLOSED]

This is the first step in the paper submission process for the "Corresponding Author"(Note) for each potential Full Paper.

Considering the above guidelines and Digest Instructions for Authors, the two-page digest(s) should be submitted, including the full name and e-mail address of the Corresponding Author, by e-mail to arwtr2025@uvigo.es.

Submission of Full paper(s) [CLOSED]

Authors of approved paper digest, to present in Poster Sessions, are kindly requested to submit the Full Papers according to deadlines.

Submission of Final Full Paper(s) [CLOSED]

Authors who, after the review of their Full Paper have been invited to submit their Final Full Paper manuscript —based on a thoroughly revised version that properly addresses the concerns raised by the reviewers and the Editorial Board— are kindly requested to proceed with the submittion of the Final Full Papers by the specified deadlines.

Final Full papers should be prepared and submitted following these steps:

Step 1 - Prepare Your Final Full Paper Manuscript

Final Full paper, written in English and describing previously unpublished work(1), based on the approved Digest, must strictly adhere to the IEEE paper template. The IEEE template in Microsoft Word A4 format must be directly downloaded using the following link:

FullPaperTemplate_ARWtr2025_IEEE-RedINtransf.v1.docx

The formatting must not be altered. Any paper submitted that does not comply with the requested template will be automatically rejected.

Step 2 - Check Your Final Full Paper for IEEE Xplore-compatibility

IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

Please use "IEEE PDF eXpress" site to create IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs or validate your paper.

IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service for the ARWtr2025 Conference, allowing authors to create IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or validate PDFs that authors have create themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Validation function), and to "Approve" before submission. An overview of the IEEE PDF eXpress process can be found at:
https://ieee-pdf-express.org/External/UsingIEEEPDFeXpress

The ARWtr2025 Conference ID is: 66130X

Once you have created your PDF eXpress Account at https://ieee-pdf-express.org
Log in using your email address.
i.Select "Dashboard" from the left menu.
ii. Click on "Creative New Title" (enter the title of your paper) and follow the on-screen instructions.
iii. Upload the file by dragging and dropping it or browsing for the file to convert it from Word to PDF format, or to validate if it is a Compatible PDF. Then, follow the on-screen instructions until the 'Conversion in Progress...' process has been completed.
iv. Once the file has been successfully converted or validated as a PDF, select 'Download the PDF' from the Actions icon in the right menu. The downloaded PDF will be labeled 'Certified by IEEE PDF eXpress,' including the exact date and stamp within its menu properties. Additionally, you will receive emails detailing the results of the conversion or validation process.
If you are satisfied with the file and wish to submit it to our Conference, select "Approve Paper" from the Actions icon in the right menu. Once the paper is successfully approved, it will be marked as 'Approved' in the Status column. This step is mandatory to transfer your approved PDF file to the Conference IEEE PDF eXpress database. Following this, you must prooced to submit your final 'Approved' manuscript as an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF file to the Conference (refer to Step 3).

First-time IEEE PDF eXpress users should do the following:

1. Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress

2. Select the "Create account" link.

3. Enter the following information:

    · 66130X for the Conference ID
    · your email address
    · your password

4. Continue entering the required information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent to verify your account setup.

IEEE PDF eXpress is not a manuscript-collection system and does not replace the submission of Final Full Paper to the Conference (See Step 3).

Step 3 - Submit Your Final Full Paper

Once authors have verified that they have IEEE Xplore-compatible versions of their manuscripts, they will still need to submit their Final Full papers in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF file format (converted and "Approve" in Step 2) by the specific deadlines.

Considering the steps outlined above, the Final Full Paper(s) must be submitted via e-mail to arwtr2025@uvigo.es. The e-mail body should include the ID and title of the paper, as well as the full name and email address of the corresponding author.

Papers that are not submitted will not be processed further.

Step 4 - Sign the Corpyright Form

Once the final manuscript has been reviewed, the Authors of each Final Full Paper accepted for submission for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library will be required to sign the Copyright Form (one per paper).

(Note)The Author who submits the Digest(s)/Paper(s) manuscript(s) should be designated as “Corresponding Author.” The “Corresponding Author” will receive future communications regarding the paper(s). The decision letter about the acceptance of the paper will be sent to the Corresponding Author.

(1)All Authors should ensure that their paper fulfil the ARWtr_Statement_of_Originality: “All Authors of the submitted paper confirm that they have not published the paper with the same title neither content completely nor in parts of it in any other format before (journals, conferences, workshops, symposia or any other contribution).”

S t u d e n t s

Students are particularly encouraged to participate in the Conference. The objective is to offer the Students a genuine opportunity to discuss their ongoing research and put place it from a practical knowledge standpoint. This offers Students a unique chance to establish collaboration links with practitioners and specialists from the industry in the specific area of Transformers.

To promote the Students participation, in addition to the reduced fee offered by the Organisation, Students can apply for one of the grants in the ARWtr2025 Student Grant Competition promoted by CIGRE, IEEE PES and ReiNtransf, which covers the registration fee.

Participation in Student Grant Competition does not exclude participation from presenting regular papers at poster sessions or giving lectures in oral sessions, if applicable.
